Ann Allen's Birmingham AL Real Estate News & More: Every Day Is A Gift!

Every Day Is A Gift!

Well, so much for the world coming to an end yesterday.  Personally, I can't imagine we are going to have advance notice of the Rapture, but I don't want to get left behind when that day comes!  In the meantime I'm going to enjoy the gift of living in this amazing world that God has created.  Today I woke to find I had been blessed with yet another day on matter what kind of difficulties I face, it is great to be alive.  Life is precious and there are no guarantees we will be here tomorrow.  Every day we are given is truly a gift.

The tomorrows of life are just a gift from God.  The end has not come yet live now and do the best we can.

Ann, this morning started off beautifully with great sunrise and sunshine.  After yesterday's nearly four inches in an hour and a half behind about two inches in the morning.  It appeared we were going to need an ark.

Yes, every day is a gift and, as one of our local radio brodcasters has said, "That's why we call it the present."

Ann, yes apparently we are still here...I'm kind of glad I didn't spend the mortgage money on a monumental last day party...oh well back to work.

Personally, I'm glad I was left behind.  I wasn't at all ready to blast off!

Ann, back to business as usual! Feel bad for those that really thought they were going somewhere, I find it hard (on a deeper level, LOL) to make fun of them.

But me? I'm the same as I was before....

Great attitude Ann.  It's been a sad and happy week for us.  A dear friend died of cancer last Saturday morning and her memorial service was on Friday.  There were MANY people gathered together to celebrate her life.  Then on Friday, our 5th grandchild was born.  He's a few weeks early so he'll be staying the hospital while Mom gets to come home today.  It's good to be alive and be able to share our love with those around us!

Ann, It truly is a gift as we don't know what tomorrow brings.  I was disappointed in the media press this nut job got. It makes people think all Christians feel this way and in all honesty the bible tells us that no one knows when Christ will come.

Every day is a gift.  Although, I didn't want the end of the world to come, I thought how nice that it might come when I'm still standing...LOL  Did you read about how this was all a hoax?  The entity that posted this has done it before, and they did it to boost their charitable contributons.  Ugh.

You are so right!  Every day IS a gift.  And I agree; Biblically, no one knows the day nor the hour!
